I felt like wearing all black, which isn't too atypical.

I bought the cardigan a couple sizes larger for a slightly oversized look. Apparantly part of a "spring collection" it's nice and warm- good for cool, summer nights I imagine, if we ever get out of this cold. 

Sunglasses are white, acetate and handmade by Acne. I thought they would provide a decent amount (read: small amount) of contrast to the wide array of color I got going on here. 

 This brick wall with the thorny vines and shady black door were great finds too.

14/03/23: THE COLD END...

The first day of spring has come and gone, but it's still cold. Time to bring out the heaviest pea coat one more time before it starts to feel like spring and I get to wear a plethora of other jackets. It's only the first look but you might be able to tell I have somewhat of an affinity for All Saints.

And despite the slight overcast, Sunday calls for sunglasses because you can still read last night's story in my eyes.

14/03/18: WELCOME TO OUTFIT BY NIGHT

Let’s push the boundaries.

Style is an outward expression of personality & intrinsic creativity, but is it more? You can skim through as many glossy pages as you want, but why not rip those pages out & make something new? 

I wanted to write a style blog documenting myself as I navigate one mode of outward expression. Something to inspire and self critique. It's an idea I've had in my head but never really got around to doing, but there's no time like the present.

The name was inspired by the "outfit of the day" featured all over the blogosphere. I'm somewhat of a nocturnal person, or so I've heard, and as s far as a name goes, why not turn that phrase on its head? It makes it a little more relevant for me and my style, as you will see.
