Keeping it somewhat simple. Black and some shapes/patterns thrown in there.

Between moving, applying to school and work midst all of life's usual crazy adventures, it's been a little hard to sit down and blog. 

But I think it's a little unrealistic to expect life to slow down at any time in this age.

Maybe that notion is reflected in the varied backgrounds featured here, we took photos all over the place for this one.

This time, all photos are by a friend Faz (pronounced "phase"). An up and coming photographer in his own right, all of these shots were really more spontaneous than anything. Check out more of his work on his tumblr site.

Fringe kimono here with the Grim Creepers by UNIF, I didn't realize there were spikes on my wrist and on my feet until we started to take photos. Some things can't be avoided, I guess. 

The silk shirt is from LA based vintage people, October 18th. They have some interesting and some out there things if you can find your fit - goes with UNIF's vibe too.

Not much else to say today, just doing my own thing. 

We took pills, chased with whiskey, then madly laughed while running down the streets. 

Watch the neon light circlings, circlings- they can tell you the truth. Have a wild time with life.

So after life getting in the way of blogging for a bit, I'm back. This time with an interesting jacket by Oak NYC - with one off white sleeve. 

I know it's supposed to be spring and this isn't very "spring" is it? But spring is overrated. Also, it's not that warm. Wear black and leather if you want. 

The t-shirt is from when I saw the Kills a few years ago, it was their 10 year anniversary tour. The image is a hold over from their early album days I believe. 

Now, would Allison Mosshart and Jamie Hince approve? Go ask them yourself.

Seriously, this bag has been with me nearly everywhere in the past year. Around the world and back, it's keeping up pretty well. What better way to feature it than with some of pieces I picked up from all over.

I'm pleasantly surprised that we are able to consistently find corners here and there that go with what I got on. Can weathered down brick walls ever get old when I'm so colorfully dressed?

Yeah, grey counts as color in my book.

It's getting warmer but I will be a little disappointed when it's too hot to wear jackets. I never thought this rayon t-shirt by Horace would go pretty well with this grey, suede jacket. Sometimes, you never know till you throw it on and see how it looks.

I added the evil eye necklace a friend brought back for me from Morocco. It can provide protection against the deadly spirits haunting the dingy corner I managed to find so we can snap a few shots. 

For some odd reason we got a few onlookers who sorta... wouldn't stop looking today. It's a city and we were just taking some pictures right?

And for some other odd reason I kept thinking of what a friend told me once at a party when nearly everyone was singing that too catchy (and quite annoying) "we are young" song while him and I were still pouring drinks.

What he said was, "Let them be forever young because we will always be the disparate youth."
